Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on December 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast. She holds the record for being recognized with 10/10 scores at an Olympic performance. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at age six. She would later become Romania's gymnastics coach. She first competed at the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, won. At her first international event in 1972 she came out on top by winning three gold awards. At her first competition as a senior, in 1975 she bested the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva the five-time European champion winning four gold medals as well as one silver. The first female to ever successfully complete a backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career as an entertainment professional in her teens in which she was a part of an ice skating duo along with her sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry in her teens. She began her career as figure skater, performing alongside her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. These shows included skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
