Linda Hamilton was an American actress best known for her role as Sarah Connor in The Terminator and its sequel Terminator 2 Judgment Day. The other character she has played is of Catherine Chandler, in the television series Beauty and the Beast. Her husky vocals allow her to portray strong and robust characters that are faced with great hardships and tragedies before overcoming the challenges. The toned, slender body of the actress has led to her being referred as the Body of the Nineties. Born in Salisbury Maryland in a typical Anglo-Saxon Family, she went on to attend workshops hosted by Lee Strasberg in New York City. Her professional career started as an actress on television, but she later began her film career. Her breakthrough came in 1984, playing the character she played in 'The Terminator' as Sarah Connor. Random, The Equalizer and The White City are among her forthcoming films. She is also set to appear in projects from Terrence Malick as well as Warren Beatty.
